I've always loved math and organization. Combined with my knack for details, bookkeeping and I are a match made in heaven!
I received my Bachelors in Accounting from George Fox University, a small college just south of Portland, OR. After graduating, I worked at a local CPA firm for a few years doing everything from preparing personal and business tax returns, assisting with payroll, and of course bookkeeping.
Preparing business returns, I saw and cleaned up a lot of messy books. I saw that business owners really needed someone to keep their bookkeeping straight throughout the year and not just do a quick cleanup once a year. Having this experience with the back-end of preparing business tax returns makes me a much more better bookkeeper because I know what your tax pro is looking for!

I am also QuickBooks Online Advanced certified and Hubdoc certified. This means I know my way around the software and will be able to help you troubleshoot and utilize these programs for your business!
